Emily Sukiennik grew up in New Hampshire, moving west in 2009 only to find that this is where she belonged: the desert! Having been in the Sports and Recreation industry since 2005, Emily has worked as a camp counselor, an interpretive canyoneering and rock climbing guide, a professional slackline and highline athlete, a P.E. & Health Teacher as well as the Community Outreach Coordinator in the Sports and Recreation Department for the City of Moab. Well versed in athletics and the outdoors and a proponent of healthy lifestyles and mental health, she enjoys creating a space for the Moab community to recreate, stay fit, and socialize. She received her Associates Degree in General Studies from Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, AZ and her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University. Miranda Custer grew up in Enumclaw, Washington. She attended BYU-Idaho where she received her Associates Degree in Sports Medicine. Miranda moved to Moab with her husband and children in 2013 so her husband could pursue his career as a trooper with the Utah Highway Patrol. When Miranda is not busy being the Mom Taxi, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping with her family. She has coached many soccer teams throughout the years, and enjoys teaching kids the love of soccer. Another favorite pastime of Miranda's is cooking and baking, and sharing the deliciousness with others. Whether that is through her Instagram page (@mos_menu) for recipes, or delivering the food personally.
